About me

My name is Tamas Szucs, I am 54 years old, I live in Hungary (EU) and I have a very smart son. My original profession is cameraman, photographer and video editor.  I started using and learning about fountain pens as a hobby when I was 40 years old, when I inherited a collection of pens from my father.

I have always loved the "stuff" of old writing - tools, pens, paper, pen and ink. It wasn't long before I decided I wanted to learn more about pens, how they work from the inside. It was a natural decision for me to also get involved in the repair and restoration of fountain pens.

I soon realised that I wanted to repair pens not only for myself but also for others. I have always loved making people happy and it still gives me great satisfaction when I hear that a customer is very satisfied.

I have a lot of experience in grinding a fountain pen tip.

I personally presented a piece of my father's collection to Prime Minister Viktor Orban in 2021.
