Reform was the first brand on the German (later West German) market to use injection molding in fountain pen manufacturing. The company also supplied complete writing systems and components to many other well-known manufacturers. The Memo brand, belonging to Reform, features a piston-filling mechanism, gold-plated cap and nib. The pen is unused, in like-new condition, and suitable for everyday writing. The Esterbrook M2 fountain pen was designed by Henry Dreyfuss. One of its most distinctive features is the V-shaped notch on the top of the cap. The ballpoint pen version of the Sheaffer Fineline model was released in the summer of 1951 with a specially designed refill, which has not been manufactured for decades.
