Cross Century is one of the best-known and longest-produced writing instrument series, first introduced in the United States in the late 1940s. The classic, slim-shaped pen is manufactured in Ireland in a Cross Century Sterling Silver version with a 14-carat nib and can be used with a converter or cartridge.

This pen spent most of its life in Hungary. At the founding of the Hungarian American Oil Company (MAORT) in 1938, it was placed on the desk of then–general manager Simon Papp at the Gresham Palace.
